Bill and his wife, Susan, moved to Rocklin in 1999 to raise their family and launch a small business.
As business owners, they created an award-winning business that won recognition for its fast growth — and giving back to the community. The Sacramento Business Journal four times ranked Halldin Public Relations as one of the region’s fastest-growing businesses and also annually recognizes Halldin Public Relations for being one of the top corporate supporters to non-profit organizations.

Bill also represented Rocklin for more than five years as a Sierra College Trustee, being chosen by his colleagues to serve as President of the Board for two of those years. During his tenure, Bill pushed for affordable education for students, lower tuition for returning veterans and steps to ensure students could take the classes they needed to be able to transfer to four-year universities and complete their educations as quickly as possible.
Bill has been recognized with William Jessup University‘s Faith & Service Award, the Rocklin Chamber’s Businessperson of the Year Award and Placer County School Trustee of the Year. In 2018, he received the Edward M. Friedman Award for Community Service.
Bill earned a Bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and a Master’s in Public and Private Management from Yale University. Bill and Susan have two children: Kathryn, a graduate of Wheaton College and Cornell University now serving as a Physician Assistant, and Michael, a Whitney High School graduate.
